How can one make a decision about college when we’ve had no career exploration? How can one decide about a career path when we’ve had no self exploration? How can we live a life with balance when we aren't taught how? When it comes time to make big life decisions, like what's next after high school, it's best to start with the vision then work your way backwards to find your next steps. This program takes students through that process. It helps them to create a framework for decision making that is right for them.
Highlights of the Program:
1. Self-Discovery (values exploration, personality test, skills assessment)
2. Living a balanced life of fulfillment
3. Personal finance and money mindsetting
4. Career exploration and prototyping
5. Goal Setting (making dreams into reality)
6. Next steps: College/Degree program exploration and calculating ROI, or getting a job and setting up a budget.
What parents and teens are saying
It is definitely a wonderful program and gives the teen a great in depth knowledge into who they are. It also helps them to know what they may find satisfying and fulfilling in life. It was very tailored and personalized to suit each child. It's also much more of a wholesome personal exploration for my teen which I valued.

Hiring Emma is one of the best decisions we’ve made for our teen daughter who is navigating the whole process of figuring out life after high school. It took the pressure and stress off of us, as parents, and our daughter actually enjoys working with Emma. Our daughter’s high school’s focus is limited like most, if not all, high school’s) and they can’t accommodate each student’s unique needs. As parents, we don't have the knowledge or resources to do so. At a reasonable cost, one can have guidance from the experienced, professional, responsive, and uplifting Emma! It’s well worth it, and we highly recommend her. We’re very grateful for finding Emma.

Prior to this, I hadn't received any career guidance. Now, I'm feeling positive and inspired about the occupations I collected. I am less stressed in regards to making decisions for my future and I feel that I have a good game plan for pursuing my career and finances. The program gave me clear options and Emma is so lovely. I would recommend this program.

I honestly wish this program had been around when I was in high school. Upon completion of the modules and action packs I understand the importance and value of each. For someone to find a path is important, but to prepare and empower someone (both mentally and emotionally) is paramount to healthy success. This program is a valuable system that can assist students not only in the classroom, but also in the workplace and in their personal lives.

SELF DISCOVERY: Students will deeply explore their personality, interests, skills, and values. They will start to design who they want to be and begin to learn what they want their lives to look like. This is a foundation that is needed in order to pursue career and college exploration.
LIVING A FULFILLING LIFE: Students go through the various aspects that have been scientifically proven to lead to happy, fulfilling lives. Whatever occupation one chooses to pursue, it is in giving these other elements the same prioritization as our careers that we can live a well balanced life.
MONEY MINDSETTING: What is money mindsetting? I like to use a diet and exercise analogy. If you want to lose weight all you have to do is follow a diet and exercise protocol. If you do, you will lose weight. As straight forward as that is, it may not be easy to do. Why? Mindset. Money is the same way. This class not only teaches the basic protocol for being financially secure, but also gives teens a positive money mindset that will set them up for success.
CAREER PROTOTYPING: Students will gather occupation options based on what is suited to their personalities, interests, skills, and values. What is career prototyping? After some preliminary research (career exploration) they will then need to sample occupations in order to qualify their options.
DREAMS TO REALITY (goal setting) Students will create a vision for their life and who they want to be. We will then work backwards to find what their next steps are. They will have multiple paths to choose from. They will learn about creating goals and habits, how to overcome disappointments, and what to do if they get overwhelmed.
NEXT STEPS: College/Degree exploration and Calculating ROI. Students will explore degree programs based on their interests and skills, explore colleges based on the degree programs, learn the difference between scholarships, grants, and loans, and learn how to calculate ROI for their choices. Or if they are finishing college we will work on resume and interview skills etc.
